A concise outline of Amagi’s Q1 FY27 performance, including revenue growth, profit expansion, expenses, market focus and stock-market context from its reported numbers.

Amagi reported a net profit of Rs 34 crore in Q1 FY27, up 8.5 times from Rs 4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Operating revenue rose 32% year-on-year to Rs 437 crore from Rs 330 crore, according to consolidated financial statements filed with the National Stock Exchange. Sequentially, revenue increased 10% from Rs 397 crore in Q4 FY26.
Founded in 2008, Amagi operates a cloud-based advertising platform for connected TV and programmatic advertising. The platform enables brands to run targeted campaigns across streaming platforms. The company generates most of its revenue from international markets, with the US described as its key market.
Amagi earned Rs 18 crore in non-operating income during the quarter, taking overall income to Rs 454 crore. Overall expenses increased 22% year-on-year to Rs 414 crore from Rs 338 crore, while employee benefits accounted for nearly half of total expenses. Because revenue growth outpaced expense growth, profit after tax expanded sharply, though sequential profit remained unchanged from the previous quarter.
Amagi got listed on the stock exchanges earlier this year and debuted on Indian stock exchanges at a 12% premium at Rs 317 per share. In less than six months since listing, the stock has more than doubled. The shares were trading around Rs 679 as of 1:17 PM on Thursday, giving the company a market capitalisation of Rs 14,695 crore, or $1.54 billion.
