Armadin raised $255.5 million in Series B funding at a valuation of more than $2.5 billion. The round comes six months after a $190 million Series A in March, bringing Armadin’s total funding to more than $445 million.
The Series B was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Accel. Bain Capital Ventures, Redpoint, 8VC, Ballistic Ventures, Google Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Kleiner Perkins, and Menlo Ventures also joined the round.
Armadin is positioning itself around always-on enterprise security built for the AI era. Instead of traditional penetration tests, its agentic swarms chain vulnerabilities together to break in, giving organizations a way to find and seal holes earlier.
Kevin Mandia is best known as the founder of cybersecurity startup Mandiant, which sold to Google for $5.4 billion in 2022. With Armadin, he is applying that security background to a model designed around autonomous agents and continuous defense testing.
