Electric two-wheeler maker BGauss has raised Rs 110 crore in a Series D round led by founder Hemant Mahendrakumar Kabra, with Bharat Value Fund and others participating.

BGauss has raised Rs 110 crore, or $11.6 million, in a Series D funding round led by founder Hemant Mahendrakumar Kabra. Existing investor Bharat Value Fund also participated, along with Adesh Realtor LLP and Maithan Alloys.
The company’s board approved the allotment of 17,26,846 Series D CCPS at Rs 637 per share, including a face value of Rs 10 and a premium of Rs 627 per share, according to a regulatory filing sourced from the Registrar of Companies.
Kabra led the round with an investment of Rs 50 crore, while Bharat Value Fund infused Rs 44 crore. Adesh Realtor LLP contributed Rs 10 crore and Maithan Alloys added Rs 6 crore.
The round values BGauss at around Rs 1,000-1,100 crore on a post-money basis. The fresh funding could be part of a larger round, and the valuation may vary accordingly.
The new capital gives BGauss room to scale operations, strengthen its product portfolio and support expansion plans. Founded in 2020 by Hemant Kabra, the company makes electric scooters with technology features such as AI-enabled systems, IoT integration, fast charging and low-maintenance requirements.
For readers tracking India’s EV sector, the key takeaway is that BGauss is adding capital at a time when product, technology and distribution investments are becoming central to competitive positioning.
BGauss registered 5,518 retail registrations in July 2026, marking around 3X year-on-year growth. During the month, it held a 0.3% share of India’s electric two-wheeler market.
The company competes with startups and new-age EV players such as Ather and River Mobility, as well as established players including Ola Electric, Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor and Bajaj Auto. Its latest funding follows earlier raises from Bharat Value Fund and a group of investors led by Darshan Patel.
