Flai says its AI dealership platform now schedules 50,000 sales and service appointments per month, revenue is up 20x in a year, and it has closed a $27 million Series A led by Base10 Partners.

Flai says its AI dealership software is now scheduling 50,000 appointments per month across sales and service. The company’s revenue has grown 20x in a year, according to CEO Ari Polakof, and it has raised a $27 million Series A led by Base10 Partners. The round also included Friedkin Group, Findlay Automotive, Toyota’s venture arm, Y Combinator, and First Round Capital.
Flai began as software for car dealerships to manage phone calls, emails, and texts, but the company now describes a broader AI-powered customer relationship management platform. Its AI answers and engages with customers, runs outbound campaigns, and schedules appointments. The company says it is working with more than 10 of the top 50 dealer groups in the country.
Speed and dealership-specific workflows are central to Flai’s pitch. Polakof said the software can be live in a dealership 10 days after a contract is signed, and he tells the team to respond to customers within 20 minutes “at most.” The article also points to referrals from dealers and a Puerto Rico luxury dealer rollout where customers switch between Spanish and English mid-conversation.
Flai’s growth shows how vertical AI tools can gain traction when they are tailored to a specific industry’s operations rather than positioned as generic automation. For dealerships evaluating AI, the key questions are practical: how deeply the software integrates, how fast it can launch, how it handles customer follow-up, and whether it improves response times. Flai is betting that its focus on dealerships gives it an edge over broader small-business AI products.
