Entrackr’s weekly funding report shows 17 Indian startups raised $61.8 million between Sep 14 and Sep 19, with one growth-stage deal, 14 early-stage deals, two undisclosed rounds, 15 key appointments and one acquisition.

Indian startup funding totalled $61.8 million between Sep 14 and Sep 19, spread across 17 startups. The activity included one growth-stage deal, 14 early-stage deals and two undisclosed rounds. The week also recorded 15 key appointments and one merger and acquisition.
The figure marked a steep weekly fall from the previous week, when 23 startups raised about $356.8 million. Entrackr reported that funding dropped over 82% week-on-week, while the eight-week average stood at around $219.6 million across 21 deals.
Growth-stage startups raised $40 million across one deal. Bengaluru-based AI interactive content startup Flam raised $40 million in a Series B round led by QED Investors.
The round also saw participation from Claypond Capital, Martin Chavez, Olivier Pomel, Venky Harinarayan and Shah Rukh Khan, along with existing investors RTP Global and Dovetail. That single deal accounted for the bulk of disclosed funding during the week.
Early-stage startups raised $21.8 million across 14 deals. VerifAIX raised $5 million in a seed round co-led by Endiya Partners and Bluehill VC, while DheyaTech secured Rs 43 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Avaana Capital.
Other disclosed rounds included Firi’s $3 million raise led by 360 ONE Asset, UniqYou’s Rs 15.8 crore seed round led by Arkam Ventures and Antler, Enlight Metals’ $1.5 million from Exar North Group at a $10 million valuation, and TRUE ARTIS’ Rs 11.4 crore seed round led by Zeropearl VC. Physioplus Healthcare and Peep Beauty also raised funding but did not disclose amounts.
Bengaluru led city-wise activity with seven startup deals, followed by Delhi-NCR with six. Mumbai, Chennai and Jaipur also recorded startup funding activity during the week.
By sector, e-commerce led with eight deals, followed by healthtech with two. AI, semiconductor, deeptech, gaming and other sectors also saw funding activity. Seed rounds led by stage with nine deals, followed by pre-seed with four and pre-Series A with two, while Series B and angel funding recorded one deal each.
The week included several leadership updates across Bluestone, Info Edge, super.money, Practo, OTPless, Avendus Wealth Management, BikeWo Green Tech, RTP Global, PointAI and Leverage Edu. These appointments point to continued executive movement across fintech, healthtech, education, wealth management and startup investment ecosystems.
On the M&A front, Unstop acquired talent assessment platform PerspectAI, with its founders and team joining Unstop. Entrackr also noted new launches from Swiggy, which introduced an on-demand “Early Cashout” feature for delivery partners, and Puresta Lifestyle, which launched the AI-powered skin health platform EVERQ.
