BlackBuck’s revenue from operations grew 42% year-on-year to Rs 204 crore in Q1 FY27, up from Rs 144 crore in Q1 FY26. On a sequential basis, operating revenue rose over 10% from Rs 185 crore in Q4 FY26, showing continued topline expansion. The headline takeaway is clear: the online trucking platform entered the quarter with stronger operating scale and crossed the Rs 200 crore revenue mark.

Truck operator services remained BlackBuck’s main income stream, contributing 98.5% of operating revenue of Rs 201 crore in Q1 FY27. The lending business added Rs 3.2 crore during the quarter. BlackBuck also earned Rs 16 crore from interest income, taking total revenue to Rs 220 crore from Rs 160 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

Profit Rises Year-on-Year, But Slips Sequentially

BlackBuck reported a 24% year-on-year increase in profit to Rs 42 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 34 crore in Q1 FY26. However, profit declined 36% sequentially from Rs 66 crore in Q4 FY26. Depreciation and other operating expenses pushed total expenditure to Rs 178 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 114 crore in the year-ago quarter. As of 2:35 PM on the reporting day, BlackBuck’s shares were trading at around Rs 530, with a market capitalization of Rs 9,679 crore, or $1.02 billion.
