Founded in 2020 by Manuel Godoy and Bernardo García, Miami-based Félix helps people in the U.S. send money to families across Latin America through WhatsApp. The company says it connects users with families across 11 Latin American markets, including Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras and Peru. Its positioning centers on making remittances more accessible through conversational AI inside a messaging app many customers already use.

Growth Signals Investors Are Backing

Félix has now raised nearly $300 million in total, according to the report. The company did not disclose its latest valuation, saying only that it had increased threefold since its 2025 Series B, a $75 million round led by QED Investors. Félix also says it has processed more than $8 billion in transactions to date and grew revenue more than 2.5x in the past year.

Why It Matters for Fintech and Latin America

The funding gives Félix fresh capital to expand its offerings and enter new markets across Latin America. The deal also lands amid a fintech funding environment where startups raised $28.6 billion globally in the first half of 2026, according to Crunchbase data cited in the article. For readers tracking fintech, the key takeaway is that investors are still concentrating capital around AI, financial infrastructure and consumer-friendly financial services.
