Higgsfield, the AI image and video startup founded by former Snap executive Alex Mashrabov, raised a $400 million Series B at a $5.4 billion valuation, according to TechCrunch.

Higgsfield announced a $400 million Series B at a $5.4 billion valuation, TechCrunch reported. The new valuation comes eight months after the company reached a $1.3 billion valuation, marking a sharp step-up for the AI image and video startup.
DST Global led the round, with Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Valor Capital, and Tribe Capital also listed among investors.
Founded in 2023 by former Snap executive Alex Mashrabov, Higgsfield lets users create AI images and videos. Its tools include Cinema Studio for filmmakers directing AI films and Marketing Studio for marketing and advertising teams.
The company has also drawn attention for premiering AI-generated movies at Cannes and in New York.
In its announcement, Higgsfield said it reached $700 million in annualized revenue and 30 million users across 200 countries. TechCrunch also reported that enterprise demand is becoming a key market for the company, with Higgsfield saying it works with 390 of the Fortune 500.
Mashrabov told TechCrunch he expects enterprise adoption of video AI to become more deeply embedded in everyday marketing and creative workflows.
The new capital is expected to support hiring, product development, and compute needs. Mashrabov described video as one of the most compute-intensive areas in AI and said one minute of video is like processing 60,000 words.
That makes reliable compute capacity a core competitive cost as Higgsfield operates in a market that includes companies such as Synthesia and Runway.
